POSH OVERNIGHT - FINISHING SCHOOL FOR ADULTS
We will introduce you to a magical world: the history of etiquette from the Palace of Versailles in France; tea etiquette, just like at The Savoy in London; international fine dining (American, Continental, and Middle Eastern style); caviar—the royal delicacy; high-society dress codes; travel etiquette; cultural activities; being an unforgettable host and gracious guest; intercultural relations; and so much more!
You can combine different modules - 4 modules, minimum 1 hour each. The space is very limited to 7 participants per class and priority is given to participants who register for the complete program.

Module 1 - History of Etiquette and Social Behavior
First Impressions, introductions, greetings - The difference between "How do you do" and "How are you"? How to introduce others correctly, how to enter and exit a room, how to enter and exit a car, using stairs graciously, small talk. Social and business handshake, public mannerism, the power of the voice.
Module 2 - How to be POSH Dress Code
Polished, Poised, Posture , Presence
Module 3 - Being unforgettable Host
Invitations and Thank you notes, creating a guest list, creating the menu, flower arranging.
Module 4 - Gracious Guest
Gift giving and receiving, cultural appropriation, conversations, thank you notes,
Module 5 - Fine Dining Essentials
The meaning of the table, tablecloths, napkins, how to sit at the table, thanking the wait staff, tipping. Formal dining - the fork, bread plate and bread knife, the fish knife. Do you know the Bishop of Norwich? Toast Etiquette, serving order.
Module 6 and 7 - International Fine Dining - lunch included
American, Continental and Middle Eastern Style of dining, how to eat soup, how to eat difficult foods, eating desert, coffee.
Caviar - types of caviar, serving and eating, how do you pair caviar with alcohol.
Module 8 - The British Institution Tea
The difference between High Tea, Afternoon tea and Cream tea
